Message from the Founder
WE DO NOT BREED BIRDS at FLYING COLORS BIRD SANCTUARY OF NORTH CAROLINA It only took one rescue and I was hooked. I could not sit back and abuse the rights of these beautiful, intelligent, delicate animals. FCBS DOES NOT SELL RESCUED BIRDS Others were drawn to the same cause I was. We all want to help a growing problem with solutions to those issues that need to be addressed. We formed together to create FCBS, a group that can have a much greater impact to improve the quality of life for these unwanted birds than one person that stands alone. FCBS provides education and continued support to the parties adopting any of our birds. |

| The creation of Flying Colors is the result of lots of education after a very short attempt thinking I wanted to be a breeder. I did my homework, asked questions about breeding, and thought everything would be great . Then I received my first RESCUE! Did more homework, asked more questions, visited many so called breeding facilities. I was appalled at what I saw, then came to a decision making day. |
